Make Feather yours.
Small add-ons from the community: new commands, new blocks, new ways to work. Every one is reviewed, and every one runs in a sandbox.
- SandboxedA plugin can't see your files, the internet or the rest of the app.
- Asks firstIt only gets the access it asks for, and you see that before you install.
- ReviewedEvery plugin and every update is read by a person before it's listed.

Build a plugin
Two files and an idea.
A plugin is a manifest.json that says what it needs and a main.js that uses Feather's small API. Put both in your notes folder under .feather/plugins/ to try it, then share it with a pull request.
- Write
manifest.jsonandmain.js. - Try it in Feather: open Plugins and switch it on.
- Open a pull request to the plugin repository. We review it and list it here.
// main.js: a "/" block that signs your note
feather.addSlashItem({
id: "signature",
label: "Signature",
run: () => "Written with Feather",
});
// A command, with "notes:read" in the manifest
feather.addCommand({
id: "count",
name: "Count notes",
run: async () => {
const notes = await feather.notes.list();
feather.notice(`You have ${notes.length} notes`);
},
});
